The optional POTS/xDSL matrix interface can be installed in any slot numbered from 1 through 24 inclusive in the 26-slot chassis, and from 1 through 5 in the 6 slot-chassis, following the grouping outlines in the user manual for best usage.
The POTS/xDSL matrix card is an 8 ports RJ-48C, port which is based on relay switching matrix technology, commands to setup or tear down connections are receive from a CPU control card via LVDS backplane bus.
